Overview
This example shows how Webflow CMS content can be distributed through RSS readers using a full-content RSS feed generated by WebflowRSS.
Many users subscribe to websites using RSS applications such as Feedly or Inoreader to receive new content automatically.
WebflowRSS generates RSS feeds that include the complete article body, allowing readers to consume content directly inside their RSS reader.
Feed Workflow
The RSS feed is generated using the following workflow:

RSS Readers
Whenever a new CMS item is published, the RSS feed automatically updates and the new article appears in the reader.
Why Full-Content Feeds Improve RSS Readers
Some RSS feeds include only summaries or preview text. This forces readers to click through to the website to read the full article.
Full-content RSS feeds allow readers to:
- read the entire article inside their RSS reader
- view images and embedded media
- browse multiple articles without leaving the reader app
This creates a better experience for subscribers who prefer consuming content through RSS.
Common RSS Readers
Popular RSS reader applications include:
- Feedly
- Inoreader
- NewsBlur
- NetNewsWire
All of these applications can subscribe to standard RSS feeds generated from Webflow CMS using WebflowRSS.
