About WebflowRSS

Built by a Webflow developer to solve a real RSS problem.

WEBFLOWRSS LLC is an independent company created by a Webflow developer after repeatedly encountering RSS limitations while building client websites. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Webflow, Inc.

Instead of relying on Airtable, Zapier, custom scripts, or fragile workarounds, WebflowRSS creates custom RSS feeds from Webflow CMS collections. These feeds can include full article content, images, author fields, podcast audio, descriptions, and other CMS data depending on the project requirements.

The service is designed for publishers, agencies, marketers, podcasters, churches, and companies that already use Webflow but need more flexible RSS output than Webflow provides by default.

Independent from Webflow

WebflowRSS is an independent product and implementation service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Webflow, Inc.

We specialize in helping Webflow CMS users extend their RSS capabilities while continuing to publish and manage content inside Webflow.

What We Do

WebflowRSS creates custom RSS feeds from Webflow CMS collections that include the full content your publishing workflows need. Unlike Webflow's native RSS feed, WebflowRSS can include rich text content, images, author information, audio files, and other CMS fields.

Our feeds are commonly used for newsletters, content syndication, podcast distribution, RSS readers, partner publishing, and other automated publishing workflows.

Typical Projects

  • Full-content RSS feeds for Mailchimp newsletters
  • Content syndication to Medium, Dev.to, and partner websites
  • Podcast RSS feeds generated from Webflow CMS
  • Separate RSS feeds for blogs, podcasts, webinars, and white papers
  • Custom feeds that include rich text, images, authors, audio, and metadata

How Setup Works

  1. Review your Webflow CMS structure and publishing requirements.
  2. Map the fields needed for your RSS feed.
  3. Generate and test the feed against your intended destination platforms.
  4. Deliver a production-ready RSS feed URL.

Simple feeds are typically completed within 24–72 hours after kickoff. More complex implementations involving multiple collections, custom filtering, audio support, or advanced field mapping generally take 3–5 business days.

FAQ

Common questions about WebflowRSS

General questions

Is WebflowRSS affiliated with Webflow?

No. WebflowRSS is an independent product and implementation service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Webflow, Inc.

What does WebflowRSS actually do?

WebflowRSS generates custom RSS feeds from your Webflow CMS that include the full article body, images, audio, author attribution, and other mapped fields — not just summaries like Webflow’s native RSS.

Why can’t I just use Webflow’s built-in RSS?

Webflow’s native RSS feed is useful for basic previews, but it typically includes title, summary, link, and date — not the full rich text body, inline images, or formatted article content many syndication workflows need.

Technical questions

How does it work technically?

WebflowRSS connects to the Webflow API, reads your published CMS content, maps the fields needed for your workflow, and outputs a properly formatted RSS feed at a stable URL.

Do I need to install anything in Webflow?

No. Nothing gets installed in your Webflow site or CMS. WebflowRSS reads from the Webflow API, so your normal publishing workflow stays the same.

What happens when I publish new content?

Your feed updates automatically. New published CMS items appear in the RSS feed without manual syncing.

Where is the feed hosted?

WebflowRSS hosts and maintains the feed infrastructure for Professional package clients. Each feed receives a stable production URL and updates automatically as new content is published.

Integration questions

Will this work with Mailchimp?

Yes. Mailchimp can subscribe to your WebflowRSS feed and use full article content in RSS-driven campaigns instead of only summaries.

Will this work with Dev.to?

Yes. Dev.to supports RSS import and can pull new posts in as drafts, with canonical URLs preserved.

Will this work with Medium?

Yes, through tools like Zapier or IFTTT. Medium does not natively subscribe to RSS feeds, but automation tools can bridge the gap and create drafts in your Medium account.

What about podcast platforms?

Yes. WebflowRSS can support audio enclosures, iTunes tags, and podcast metadata required by podcast apps and directories.

What about partner sites or syndication networks?

Yes, as long as the destination accepts standard RSS 2.0 feeds.

Setup questions

How long does setup take?

Simple feeds with standard fields such as title, image, author, and post body are usually completed within 24–72 hours after kickoff. More complex setups involving multiple collections, advanced field mapping, filters, audio, or multi-reference fields typically take 3–5 business days.

What do you need from me?

Temporary access to your Webflow backend or API access so we can review your CMS schema and map the correct fields. Once setup is complete, access can be revoked.

Can you set up multiple feeds for different content types?

Yes. If you have separate Webflow CMS collections for blogs, podcasts, white papers, webinars, events, or press releases, each collection can have its own feed.

Cost questions

How much does it cost?

Pricing is based on the number and complexity of feeds. A single-feed setup starts at $750. Multi-feed and more advanced implementations can range up to $2,500+.

Are there ongoing fees?

No required ongoing fees. Optional maintenance plans are available for clients who want hands-off support.

Why is it a one-time setup instead of a subscription?

Once the feed is configured, it runs automatically. New Webflow CMS content flows through the feed without needing ongoing manual setup.

Reliability and safety

What if Webflow changes its API?

WebflowRSS feeds are built around your CMS structure at the time of implementation. If you later add, remove, or modify fields and want those changes reflected in your RSS feed, WebflowRSS can update the feed configuration for a one-time fee.

Do you modify my Webflow site?

No. WebflowRSS is read-only. We do not modify your CMS content or change your Webflow site.

What about SEO?

Canonical URLs can be included in the feed so syndicated content points back to your original Webflow pages.

Fit

Who is WebflowRSS for?

WebflowRSS is for Webflow CMS users who need full-content RSS feeds for newsletters, RSS readers, podcast apps, content syndication, partner sites, or external publishing workflows.

Who is WebflowRSS not for?

It is not for sites that do not use Webflow CMS, or for workflows where Webflow’s basic RSS summaries are already enough.

Is WebflowRSS a SaaS product or a service?

WebflowRSS is a done-for-you setup service. We configure the feed for your Webflow CMS structure, and you receive a production-ready RSS feed URL.

Need a custom RSS feed for your Webflow site?

If Webflow’s native RSS feed is not giving you the full content or fields you need, WebflowRSS can help you create a feed that works for your publishing workflow.
